HIBERNATING

Today B and I went to the walmart Fun factory and choose a pretty bear to fill and call our own. We got him some nice silk pj's and filled him up nice and full. Then we coloured a box (den) and tucked him in for his long winters nap. It was a lot of fun. We named him Nate from "hiberNATE" LOL pretty cute I thought

First Fun in the Snow Day

Even though numbers are a bit low right now, you would think I would have more time to update the blog. but instead I am trying to get all my paperwork and organizing completed and so anyhow, a few weeks ago we had a big snow storm and so the kids of course wanted to get out there and have some fun. here are some pictures.

FALL FUN!

Well my favorite thing to do with the kids in the Autumn is to go and play in all the fallen leaves. Most years we don't get much chance because it rains so much. This morning however we had a great opportunity and I didn't forget my camera! I love the smiling faces and the colours of the leaves!

Pumpkin Patch

As we do every year, this year we went to the pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins for the daycare Halloween party. We only have R & B with us this year but it was still lots of fun. Of course it was absolutely freezing out that day!

CORN MAZE

I know I haven't posted in awhile, but we have been super busy here and time has just gotten away from me. Earlier in October we took the kids to a local corn maze. it was so much fun, there was so much extra things to do as well, hay slide, hay pyramid, pig races, wagon ride, and or course the walk through the maze. Here are some pictures from the day.

Sleepover and Goodbye

It was a sad week as we had some longtime friends leaving us. But we made the most and turned our sleepover into a nice good bye party for them, this included a camp fire and roasting marshmallows, goodbye cake, making candy apples, watching movies, and me actually getting about 5 hours of sleep. it was fun though and we will miss A and E greatly!

Apple Picking

Better late than never right? haha. we had a great time apple picking this year. the weather was so nice which most years we dont get. The kids I think ate more apples than they picked, but at least its healthy right? now to figure out what to do with all these apples...6 pies, 10 candy apples, almost every day for snack and STILL a big bag full! New Friends

Its that time of year when friends go off to school, and new friends join us. so I thought I would post a picture of our newest friend and the day she started was Pirate week so I am also posting some pictures of the kids dressed up as pirates. I got this adorable costume from Avon. I only wish I had ordered two. anyhow, here is the new cutie, and some old ones too! Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome Back

Well I know I haven't posted in quite a long time, the summer is so busy and I never seemed to get a chance to post. But things are getting back to a regular routine and we are moving some computers around which gives me more access during down times with the kids. but I wanted to post today a group picture that I took a few weeks ago. Its very rare for all of the kids I have registered to be here at the same time, obviously because of numbers. But during the summer it happens at times and I didn't want to miss the chance for a great group shot. So here it is. Of course it doesn't mean much now with new kids starting and kids leaving. but it was still a precious memory for me. I get teared up inside when the kids leave, especially the ones I have had since they were 1. They are all so special to me. I think I might blow this picture up!
