My First Post!

I can't believe I am actually doing this blog thing. I guess I have my friend Heather to thank for the interest. I look at her blog numerous times daily to see what she will post next.
So I guess I will just say that this blog is designed to share "a day in a life of a daycare provider" I have a wonderful set of kids, and tremendously fabulous families, which in this business can be quite rare.

Today being Sunday, I didn't have any kids around,So that meant I did a "big clean" as opposed to a "clean up" a big clean means I spent an hour on my hands and knees cleaning the floor under the table. This can get pretty gross over the course of a week. But during the week we are lucky to have time to do a "clean up" which means, throw the broom across it, and clean up as much "gunk" as you can before the kids notice you are too busy and get into trouble. I also vacuumed
under the rugs, chairs etc. This can be quite scarey. You never know what you might find. Luckily, today was pretty calm, no boogers stuck in the carpet, and no substances I couldn't identify. We shall see just how long it
stays clean once the children arrive at 7:30am! Here are some before pictures, I will post after pictures tomorrow.
